Picture of Corona with homade landing gear made from .94 Music wire mounted to aluminum tubing for skids. Corona sits up about 1/2 inch higher at tailfin so it does not "trim grass" on landings.
Stock music wire is .78. Wire soldered between skids is .50 music wire which gives it "spring" (give) on harder landings.
